Padua, the European capital of astronomy: the countdown has already started in view of the long-awaited Congress of EAS, the European Astronomical Society, which will unite 1,500 researchers from all over the world at Padova Congress from July 1 to 5.
Doing “the honors” will be Sara Lucatello: an astronomer at Inaf – Astronomical Observatory of Padua, author of more than 150 international publications, in recent weeks she was elected, the first woman in the history of the institution, to lead EAS. Precisely for her efforts to bring this important event to our country in 2022, Lucatello was also awarded among the Italian Knowledge Leaders by the Italian Convention Bureau.
