A name – Padova Congress – explicit, easy to understand for both an Italian and international target.
A logo that recalls the slats surrounding the building, one of the distinctive visual and architectural elements designed by Kengo Kuma, and features the colors – red and white – in the emblem of the Municipality of Padua.
The congress center in Padua now has a name and a logo, designed by AIM Communication, part of AIM Group International, leader in events organization and communication with offices in 16 countries worldwide.
A further step toward the opening of the congress center, while construction has reached the final stages.
While awaiting the opening of the congress center, the Fiera di Padova events staff is working at full speed. In fact, Stefania De Toni, has recently been assigned to the five-member “Appointment Committee” ” to select candidates for the presidency and board of the MPI Italy Chapter, part of the important network for the meeting and event industry based in the USA with chapters in every country of the world.
There are already 23 upcoming events scheduled: national and international medical and scientific congresses, company conventions and prestigious events.
Some congresses will involve the University of Padua and will host researchers and scientists from around the world. This international orientation has been confirmed by Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which has just ranked the University of Padua the 132nd most international university in the world. A result of internationalization policies launched over the last few years, backed by conventions and congresses. In fact, important medical-scientific congresses are an extraordinary occasion for exchange and discovering experiences developed by other universities.
THE EVENTS SEASON OPENS WITH THE FLORMART CONVENTION
Awaiting the congress center debut, the 2022 season of events kicks off at Fiera di Padova on February 9 with the hybrid event (in person and virtual) “Flormart creates networks, floriculture in the Italian Recovery and Resilience Plan: an opportunity to develop and qualify urban green spaces”, a special edition that precedes the international fair scheduled in September (for more information: www.flormart.it).
Not only: February 10-11, Pavilion 11 will host the 3rd Usp Cisl Padova and Rovigo Congress; the following month, March 10-11, the 13th Usr Cisl Veneto Congress will be held, while March 21 – always in Pavilion 11 – the traditional Santa Lucia dinner gala will take place.
